A man admitted to being more attracted to cars than women. 63-year-old Edward Smith boasted of how he had slept with luxury vehicles such as Mustangs, Jaguars and even a helicopter. Smith had his first experience with a vehicle after developing a sexual attraction to his neighbor’s Volkswagen Beetle, and lost his virginity to the car at 14 years old. Smith of Washington D.C., who is a mechaphile (someone who is sexually attracted to machines), admitted that he prefers to make love with engines rather than women.
“When I have them in my arms, I feel an energy that comes from them, it is a very deep love,” Smith said. However, Edward has struggled to find the same relationship with a woman, and has only had one girlfriend during his life. Edward has found love with his longtime “girlfriend” called vanilla, a Volkswagen Beetle, which he bought in 1982. Smith said that he does the act on his private property. “I am very respectful of not being seen making out with the car in public,” he said. He has so far made love to 700 cars and only one woman
