Mother Feeds Daughter with Tape worms to win a Pageant

A teenage girl in Florida was brought into the E.R. for a large stomach bulge. What started out as an odd and bewildering case for the doctors and nurses ended with a pretty gross conclusion.

The girl had unexplainable, large amounts of tapeworms inside of her intestine.

Maricar Cabral-Osorio, the pediatric nurse on duty remembered the terrifying case. According to the nurse, they first thought the young girl was pregnant due to the bulging stomach, but an ultrasound showed no signs of a growing baby.

So of course everyone would be confused. After doing a few more tests, Maricar said there was definitely something in her intestine causing the bulge but no one knew what it was until the teen went to the bathroom and let out a horrifying scream.

A few nurses rushed to the bathroom and Maricar said of the scary scene:

"It was a toilet bowl full of tapeworms. It was so gross and she had pooped all these tapeworms. There were a couple that were very long and wiggling around trying to get out of the toilet bowl."

After the scary incident, the nurse tried to reassure the teen that since the tapeworms were out of her body, she would be fine.

However, Maricar said she and her colleagues were baffled by the new findings, wondering where or how the young girl got all of those tapeworms.

The pediatric nurse recalled:

"We were wondering how did she get those tapeworms, and then you saw the mom turn white. The mom was apologizing to the girl. It's like 'I'm so sorry. You know, I did it just to make you a little skinnier. You needed some help before we went on to the pageant."

The mother of this young girl had reportedly purchased pills filled with tapeworm eggs from Mexico to help her daughter lose weight before a pageant.

This is INSANE. Some parents will go through incredible lengths to help their child win pageants, but this definitely went too far!

There are much healthier, non-life threatening ways to lose weight — digesting tapeworms is not one of them.
