Several injured as TAN rally turns bloody in Niger state

Several Nigerians, including top government officials were said to have sustained serious injuries following an incident, which occurred on Saturday during the North Central rally of the Transformation Ambassador of Nigeria (TAN) in Niger State.

It was gather that it all started when the VIP seating area housing top government officials and chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party suddenly caved in, trapping some of those already seated.

The dignitaries, who had conveyed to beat drum of support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 were reportedly rushed to the hospital for medical attention, while some supporters hurriedly left the venue.
