Controversial artiste Davido is in the news again, as unconfirmed reports reaching FNN indicate that he was slapped in a popular church in lekki after he demanded to pay his tithe at his church with his ATM card and a POS terminal.
Witnesses claim that as the offering was in progress, there was a sudden commotion at the back of the church, where it was discovered that the singer was arguing hotly with several ushers.
It was then revealed that he had demanded to use the POS terminal to pay his tithe, since he didn’t want to carry a lot of money on him. The ushers apparently gave him a hot slap and later claimed he was directed by the holy Ghost to slap the stupidity out of davido.
Fortunately, the proceedings of the church service were not interrupted, and everything settled down to normal.
FNN cannot confirm the truth of this story, as all attempts to obtain comments from Davido or his associates have proved futile.
