The Ekiti State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers has hinted that it would not honour the September 22, 2014 school resumption date as directed by the Federal Government until a contrary directive came from its national body.
Ekiti NUT Chairman, Samuel Akosile, who gave the indication in Ado-Ekiti, explained all necessary steps and measure must be taken to curtail the spread of dreaded Ebola virus.
Also, the State Deputy Governor, Modupe Adelabu, said the state would not rush into any resumption on the premise that the present situation called for caution.
