Catholic Priest Commits Suicide after Defiling 13-year-old girl, Found Hanging in Sacristy

The diocese of Santa Croce in northern Italy, has announced the death of an Italian priest, who was found dead in his sacristy. The Priest, 48 years old, was found hanging in his sacristy by Bishop Crepaldi. 

Earlier, the Priest had been accused of committing grave acts with a 13 year old girl. He had later confessed to Bishop Giampaolo, that the allegations were true and asked for two days to draft a letter of forgiveness to God, the Church and the victim. However, when Bishop Crepaldi arrived in his parish to strip him of his priestly duty, he was found hanging in his sacristy.
