Six Ships loaded With Petroleum Products including Fuel Arrives Lagos Ports
Eight ships laden with petrol, aviation fuel and kerosene had arrived Lagos ports, waiting to berth. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, Shipping Position, made available to newsmen yesterday Wednesday in Lagos.The document explained that nine other ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with fish, general cargo, rice and containers. It noted that 26 other ships were expected to arrive the ports from April 1 to April 21.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that more ships containing petrol, kerosene, bulk sugar, buck wheat, bulk gypsum, general cargo, rice, crude palm olein and bulk sulphur are on their way.
They also reported that 20 ships are presently in the ports, discharging rice, soya beans, bulk fertiliser, buck wheat, vehicle, general cargo petrol, aviation and containers. (NAN)
